Skype is celebrating one billion downloads on Google
Playstore. The Microsoft owned well-known voice over IP app whose recent update
version lets you reply to message right from whichever application you are
using, announced today via it twitter handle that it has reached a monumental 1billion downloads on Android devices alone.

 

Skype is one of those
applications that run on start-up.
What that means, is that Skype starts running the moment you turn on your
computer. Now, with the updated Skype, when you receive a message, it comes
with a notification that lets you respond to the message quickly
without leaving the current application you are working on.
You can
use a single Skype account across multiple devices like your smartphone, tablet,
Xbox, computer and “wearables”. The Skype app lets you do the follow:
